SIA 777

About

Singapore Airlines ordered their 777s on 27th June 2000. This order was for 772ERs and 773s.
With a number of those 772ERs being delivered with decreased power. Those 777s are operating in Asia.
The first 777 delivery was right in time for SIA's 50th aniversary.

The 1st "normal" 77Es was delivered in 2001 and later started the route from SIN via AMS to ORD.

Originally, SIA's 77Ws were planned to come into the fleet after the introduction of SIA's A380. But, due to the major problems and the resulting delivery delays the 77W came first. So, SIA's new cabin concept was introduced to the public onboard the 777-300ER.
