Incoming / Outgoing 777 services

Before KLM has ordered its 777s in August 2002, Amsterdam had a long history of being served by 777s.
The first 777 came to AMS in August 1995, one from United Airlines.
China Southern began its 777 service to AMS in 1997.
Korean Air first came in fall 1997. Since Winterschedule 2008, Korean flies again to AMS. This flight continues onwards to Madrid, Spain.
Malaysia started to fly the 777 to AMS in 1998, but now have switched to the 744 on this service.
Delta came in 2000 and again in 2003.
Singapore Airlines has started to fly with the 777 from SIN to AMS in 2001. This flight continued to Chicago until mid-2003.The part AMS-ORD was also my first 777 flight in May 2002.
Continental came from EWR to AMS in Summer 2002.
VARIG Brasil came from GRU and CDG during 2002 - 2004.
In June 2003 one of the 77W's prototypes came to AMS, after the presentation @ Le Bourget's Aerosalon, for the opening of AMS' new runway - Poolderbaan.
In October 2003 KLM's 1st 777 arrived at AMS. Kenya Airways' 777s are flying to AMS since Summer 2004.
